Go up packer saddle road until you reach packer lake. across packer saddle road (opposite side, away from lake), is tamarack lakes road. hike or drive up this road until you see a gate on the left. walk up this road past dugan pond. at the far end of dugan pond (away from cabin), cross outlet stream and follow this trail. it becomes a well established trail that heads up to saxonia lake. once the lake is in sight it becomes a boulder hop. no established driving road. snowmobiles in winter only. pristine land - county says no building restrictions other then physical access.
